According to Discogs, the Sone EP titled Holiday and Sport was released on 4-5-96 by Darla Records. The details of exactly what Elliott's role was on this EP is a little unclear but apparently he was involved in this recording, perhaps helping with production in some way. The liner notes from the CD  say "produced by Aaron Day and Sone with help and fashion from the Dave Messinger, Zac Love, Brendan Bell, and Elliot Smith". Elliott's name is misspelled.  Discogs more or less states the same thing as well as noting that Tony Lash was also involved in the project. If you have any more info on exactly what Elliott did, please let me know.

This EP was released on CD and 12" vinyl. The vinyl has two records. The first record has the first six tracks and is on black vinyl. The second record is clear and I believe just has one song on it, some sort of remix. I'm not sure but I believe the song plays on one side of this second record and the b-side is blank with no grooves.
