Swimming Jesus played at Bridge Cafe on 11/9/88. I believe that was a venue on the campus of Hampshire College. Swimming Jesus was Elliott Smith and Neil Gust. Presumably, Acoustic Surgery that is written on the flyer was the name of another band that also played.
