Most compilation/soundtrack appearances by Elliott are listed in a single section of this discography for compilations. However, Good Will Hunting has its own section due to the significance of this soundtrack and that it has so many of Elliott's songs on it. I have listed below all pressings of the actual soundtrack but please scroll down to the bottom of the USA section to see some interesting promo items (the promo cassette with Miss Misery and Waltz #2(XO) is listed under the XO album since it was more of a promotional item for that album).
The soundtrack contains songs by other artists besides Elliott Smith but Elliott's songs on the soundtrack are:

CD pressings were released in several different countries and this is the US pressing. It comes with a six panel booklet with photos from the film and song credits, etc. Matrix info according to Discogs:

USA LP [Capitol B0022502-01; 2015 reissue]
The soundtrack was finally released on vinyl in 2015. There is very little info on Discogs about this release. Discogs also lists an 180g version of this vinyl but it has the same catalog number and was released in 2015 as well. That pressing and this one may be the same?At least some vinyl pressings have a sticker on the front shrink wrap that says "Respect the Soundtracks" and lists a website of www.respecttheclassics.com on it (see photos below). Barcode only is listed on Discogs as 602547154774.
USA LP [Capitol B0022502-01; 180g 2015 reissue]
Like the entry above, there is very little info and very few pictures on Discogs about this release. It has the same catalog number and was released in the same year as the above entry. This one is listed as being on 180g vinyl. Matrix info according to Discogs:
- Barcode (Text): 6 02547 4

USA Good Will Hunting Sampler promo CD [Capitol/Miramax DPRO 7087 6 12824 2 9]
This promo CD was used to promote the Good Will Hunting soundtrack in the US. It was released sometime in 1998 according to Discogs. It has seven songs from the soundtrack including Between the Bars and Say Yes by Elliott Smith. The front artwork says "Good Will Hunting Sampler" and "Music from the Miramax Motion Picture Soundtrack". The back artwork lists the songs and mentions that it's for promotional use only/not for sale.

USA Miss Misery promo CD [Capitol/Miramax DPRO 7087 6 12842 2 5]
This one track promo CD was released in 1998 and was used to promote the Good Will Hunting soundtrack. The CD face and the back artwork say "Theme Song from the Miramax Motion Picture Soundtrack". It mentions that the CD is for promotional use only/not for sale. It comes in a jewel case and there is no front artwork.

USA Music from the Miramax Motion Picture Soundtrack Good Will Hunting promo CD [Capitol/Miramax DPRO 7087 6 12850 2 4]
This five song CD was released in 1998 and was used to promote the Good Will Hunting soundtrack. This one has five songs and they are all Elliott Smith songs: Miss Misery, Angeles, No Name #3, Between the Bars, and Say Yes. There is no front artwork. It comes in a jewel case with a back insert. The back insert and CD both mention that it's for promotional use only/not for sale. Copies with Spanish writing mentioning Miss Misery and the nomination on a sticker affixed to the front of the jewel case have been seen (see photo below).

Good Will Hunting USA Promo CD Special Edition [Miramax no catalog number]
There appear to be two different Good Will Hunting CD's that use the original cover photo but with a border around the photo. One of them only has songs from the film by Danny Elfman. This copy, however, has many Danny Elfman songs but also has Miss Misery as the last track on the CD. There is no catalog number. The inner part of the CD, the matrix area, does say MIRAMAX3 on it and it doesn't appear to be a CD-R. The back cover does mention it being for promotional use only. Elliott's name is misspelled as "Elliot" everywhere it is mentioned.
USA Miss Misery remix promo CD [Capitol no catalog number]
This promo CD was likely released in 1998 like the other promos from Good Will Hunting, possibly in 1997. There is no catalog number and no front or back artwork. It just comes in a jewel case with the CD. The CD is gold in color and has the Capitol Records logo on it. It states that this is a remix of Miss Misery and the duration is 3:09. The CD spells Elliott's name wrong (it says Elliot Smith).
USA Cassette [Capitol/Miramax C4 7243 8 23338 4 5]
This is the US cassette pressing of the soundtrack. Based on current Discogs info, this was only released on cassette in the US and Poland (although others may exist that I don't know about). The Discogs listing does not have any photos but there are some photos further down on this page of the cassette from Poland. Barcode according to Discogs is 724382333845.

Brazil CD [EMI/Capitol/Miramax 823338 2]
This CD pressing appears to have been released in 1998, at least according to Discogs. Very little other info is on Discogs about this Brazilian pressing other than barcode listed as 7 24382 33382 1.
-------------------------------------------------------
Canada CD [Capitol/EMI Music Canada 7243 8 23338 2 1]
The Canadian CD pressing was released in 1997. The packaging is mostly the same as the US pressing. However, the back cover does have unique pressing info and makes mention of it being made in Canada. The face of the CD has an EMI logo in addition to the Capitol and Miramax ones. Barcode taken from Discogs is 7 2438-23338-2 1.

Europe CD [Premier Soundtracks/Capitol 7243 8 23338 2 1]
Like the US release of the soundtrack, it was only released in Europe on CD originally, not vinyl. The artwork and packaging are basically the same as the US pressing other than record label logo and credit info. The back cover and CD face add a logo that looks to say Premier Soundtracks (the word soundtracks is very big but the pictures look like there's another little word that must say premier). Matrix info according to Discogs:
- Barcode (Scanned): 724382333821

Europe LP [Capitol/Universal Music Group International 00602547154774; 180g 2015 reissue]
As in the US, this soundtrack was first reissued on vinyl in Europe in 2015 on this 180g pressing. It was part of Universal International's Back to Black vinyl series. There is a sticker on the front denoting this (see photo). It includes a code to download mp3's. Discogs lists the barcode as 602547154774.

France CD [Music Box Records MBR-043; 2014 expanded reissue]
According to Discogs, this is a limited pressing of 1,500 copies and is an expanded edition of the album. It includes the complete score by Danny Elfman. The Elliott Smith songs are the same as on the original release. More info is needed on this, especially since there is no expanded edition from any other country. Perhaps this is not a legit release? Barcode/matrix info according to Discogs:
- Barcode: 3770002531433
- Matrix / Runout: CA 2014916TMBR043 www.imatec-duplication.fr @

Poland Cassette [Capitol/Miramax C4 7243 8 23338 4 5]
According to current Discogs listings, Good Will Hunting was only released on cassette in the US and Poland. It looks very legit to me but can't state that it's an official release for sure. The cover image is slightly cropped compared to the LP or CD versions in order to make it fit the cassette format. The foldout booklet looks to have all the same photos and song credit info that the CD version has. The really only unique thing seems to be that it says "Made in Poland" or "Printed in Poland" in a few places. Barcode is 724382333845.
----------------------------------------------------
Taiwan CD [Premier Soundtracks/Capitol/EMI (Taiwan) 7243 8 23338 21]
This pressing of the Good Will Hunting soundtrack looks to be more unique than any of the other CD pressings. Based on the pictures from Discogs, it comes with an obi that wraps around the left side of the cd and extends along the entire back. According to Discogs, it's actually the European pressing with an obi added so presumably everything else is the same as the European CD. Matrix info according to Discogs:
- Barcode (Text): 7 24382 33382 1
- Barcode (Scanned): 724382333821

UK/Europe CD [Premier Soundtracks/Capitol 7243 8 23338 2 1]
This pressing is listed on Discogs as being a UK & Europe pressing. There is also a Europe-only pressing listed (see entry above in the Europe section). Other than matrix info, there don't appear to be any differences between these two pressings. Matrix info according to Discogs:
- Barcode (Text): 7 24382 33382 1
