Elliott Smith played at Midnight Sun in Olympia, WA on 2-8-95. According to the flyer, the show was with Mary Lou Lord and special guests. I don't know who the special guests were. I believe that Mary Lou Lord's EP on Kill Rock Stars came out in January 1995 so that's probably what the belated  record release party was referring to. But the Needle in the Hay 7" was also released in January so it could be that, although probably it was for Mary Lou's record. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know.
