Heatmiser's first album, called Dead Air, was released on 4/27/93. Some places on the internet state that it was released in September of 1993. This doesn't seem possible since the album was in The Rocket top 20 in June 1993 (see photo below, taken from "therocket90s" Instagram account). The promo cassette also states a 4/27/93 release date. Release dates can definitely change but The Rocket info seems to verify that it did come out in April.

For more information about the different pressings of the album, please see the Dead Air page. Some photos of different pressings are below along with the page from The Rocket and a review from the Summer 1993 issue of Puncture magazine. Also a review/blurb from the April 1993 issue of Paperback Jukebox (photo of that from Charlie at Sweet Adeline) and a Locals Only chart with Dead Air in it from July 1993 Paperback Jukebox. Most (if not all) of the colored vinyl pressings below were reissues that came out later than this original release date but are posted here to show the different colored pressings that did happen over time. Below these photos, don't miss the music video for Blackout.
