The Puddle Stomp CD compilation was released sometime in 1992. Based on the fact that there was a short review of it in the January 1993 issue of Spin (see photo below, sorry it's hard to read), my guess is that it was released sometime quite late in 1992. This compilation contained the Heatmiser song "Mightier Than You" along with songs by bands such as Hazel, Hitting Birth and others. It was released on a record label called Jump Froggy Jump. The section of the booklet with Heatmiser information had their address and that you could send $6 to get their cassette (The Music of Heatmiser, presumably). Some photos taken from Discogs.
