According to the liner notes from the cassette, the Stranger Than Fiction album Waiting for the Second Hand was recorded on September 14, 1986 at Rainbow Recording. This was the third Stranger Than Fiction cassette.

Garrick Duckler - standup bass, flounder
Jason Hornick - keyboards, vocals, barracuda
Adam Koval - drums
Steven Smith - vocals, guitar, trout
The entire cassette was put on YouTube in 2022 by the account called punchandamanda. According to that account, Jason Hornick was the lead vocalist on Punch and Judy, 11:37 Passing, I Wish I Could Not Say I Wish, and Egypt. Also Garrick Duckler was lead vocalist on Sophistry. So I think Elliott was the lead vocalist on all the rest.
